Strengthening Impact and Outreach: Progress in Dissemination and International Cooperation (WP8)
Effective dissemination and international cooperation are essential to ensure that project results reach the right stakeholders and create long-term impact. Within the SC4EU project, Work Package 8 (WP8) focuses on communication, stakeholder engagement, dissemination, and exploitation activities that support the visibility and sustainability of the project beyond its duration.
During the second year of the project, WP8 achieved important progress in strengthening outreach activities and collaboration at both European and international levels. Communication efforts were intensified through targeted dissemination actions, updated content on the project website, and participation in relevant stakeholder activities.
One of the main highlights was the successful organisation of the Exploitation Workshop, which brought together project partners to discuss future pathways for the uptake and sustainability of SC4EU results. The workshop supported discussions around business opportunities, stakeholder engagement, and possible routes to market for project outcomes.
In parallel, several dissemination and exploitation deliverables were successfully prepared and submitted, contributing to a more structured and strategic communication approach across the project. These activities help position SC4EU within the wider European innovation ecosystem while supporting collaboration opportunities, visibility, and the future exploitation of project results.
Driving Engagement and Impact: ICSA-HUA Yearly Highlights in SC4EU
Over the past year, ICSA-HUA (Intelligent Computer Systems and Applications – Harokopio University of Athens) played an active role in strengthening dissemination and exploitation activities within the SC4EU project, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and impact creation.
During the second year of the project, ICSA-HUA successfully organised two important workshops. The first was a Dissemination Workshop aimed at increasing awareness of SC4EU objectives and project developments among relevant stakeholders. This was followed by an Exploitation Workshop focused on discussing the sustainability and future uptake of project results while encouraging collaboration between partners and external actors.
These activities contributed to a more structured approach to communication and impact generation within the project and supported SC4EU’s broader goals of increasing visibility, strengthening collaboration, and ensuring effective dissemination of project outcomes.
In addition to these workshops, ICSA-HUA actively contributed to wider project dissemination and engagement activities. Looking ahead, the organisation plans to participate in a liaison activity in Modena, Italy, involving nine funded projects focused on technology acceptance. This event will provide opportunities to exchange knowledge, identify synergies, and further strengthen SC4EU’s position within the broader European innovation ecosystem.
